Spring officially starts tomorrow.
But in Central Ohio it doesn’t look like spring. We’re in that between space where winter is over, but spring hasn’t begun.
I can’t wait for the vibrant colors of daffodils and hyacinths. I can’t wait for the trees to bloom–redbuds and magnolias are so beautiful. I can’t wait to see green grass and have my pond completely thaw. I can’t wait for winter’s gray days to be behind us and for blue skies and sunshine to be the daily norm.
But until then, I’ll content myself with the muted shades found before the brilliance of spring.
