And now…

Manic Monday: Death of a Guru

dyer-wayne1On August 29th Dr. Wayne Dyer died. Some of you may recognize his name. Others may never have heard of him. He was a guru–a man of wisdom–someone I frequently recommended to my clients. Many of my clients have loved his book Excuses Begone! and his movie The Shift.

I’d like to devote this post to some of my favorite Wayne Dyer quotes.

How people treat you is their karma, how you react is yours.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice.

When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal. Live this day as if it were your last. The past is over and gone. The future is not guaranteed.

The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don’t know anything about.

What comes out of you when you are squeezed is what is inside of you.

Our intention creates our reality.

Anything you really want, you can attain, if you go after it.

You’ll see it when you believe it.

*Which of these quotes is your favorite?  Which one speaks to you? Why?

*Do you have a favorite Wayne Dyer book or quote you’d like to share?
